Privacy policy
Last updated 1 September 2026. This policy describes how Optimus (optimus-bd.com) handles personal data, including Google user data when you connect Gmail for Email OTP.

Google user data (Gmail / Email OTP)
If you tap Sign in with Google on Email Tracker or the Customer Portal, we request:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly— read Gmail messages- Your Google account email (so we bind the mailbox we connected)
Why: to find a recent IVAC verification email and extract the 6-digit OTP. We do not use Google as a login for the Optimus workspace or for portal licence-key sign-in.
What we store: an encrypted OAuth refresh token, the connected Gmail address, and licence/account identifiers needed to fetch OTP later. We do not store your full mailbox. Message bodies are processed in memory to extract the code and are not kept as a mail archive.
What we do not do: we do not sell Google user data; we do not use it for advertising; we do not use it to train generalized AI/ML models; we do not transfer it to other apps except as required to run Email OTP on our own servers (optimus-bd.com) for your licence.
Optimus’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Other data we process
Depending on your licence: applicant profile fields you enter (name, passport, email, phone), payment activity, device/browser slot counts, and operational logs needed to run the workspace, portal, extension, and desktop bot. App passwords you paste for IMAP Email OTP are encrypted at rest with the same server key used for Google refresh tokens.
Retention and deletion
Google refresh tokens stay until you disconnect Google, the licence is removed, or you ask us to delete the credential. Disconnect is available next to the Google control on Email Tracker and the Customer Portal. You can also revoke Optimus in your Google Account under Apps with access.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. Hosting and infrastructure for optimus-bd.com process data as needed to operate the service. We may disclose information if required by law.
